A Hero who could fly

Don Mullan, is the Irish author of a boyhood memoir entitled 'Gordon Banks: A Hero Who Could Fly'. Mullan is dyslexic; a condition only discovered when he was 38 years old, after which he went on to become a bestselling author.

His moving and critically acclaimed book tells the story of how he found hope and inspiration through Banks, whom he first saw, aged 10, in the World Cup Final in 1966.
