Alternatively go and by the book?
To
spearhead the fundraising drive, Don Mullan has donated 5000 copies of his book ‘A
Hero Who Could Fly’.
These are being
distributed through the Britannia Building Society, together with a specially
designed ‘Banks of England’ £10 note/receipt collector’s item.
For every £10
donation made to the Monument Fund, donors will receive a free copy of
Mullan’s book and the
‘Banks of England’ £10 note. In time, the book and the £10 note/receipt may
exceed the value of the donation made.
Prior to
production the note was vetted and cleared by The Bank of England. Available at
branches of Britannia Building Society.

 How
long will it take and how much will it cost
The Monument,
costing £350,000, will comprise three figures: two
monumental figures of Banks in action (including 'That Save'
against Pelé), raised on a book-plinth; the third figure
will be life-size and placed on the ground, depicting Banks
holding the World Cup in 1966.
